How to Install Bike Pedals

Both pedals are marked near the thread with a "L" and a "R" to identify which side of the bike they fasten on. Screw in the new pedals with your fingers to make sure you dont cross-thread the pedal and strip the threads on the aluminum crank arm, and then tighten with a spanner. DO NOT FORCE THE PEDALS IN. Understand that the right pedal is right-hand thread, and to fasten turn (clockwise) but the left pedal is LEFT-HAND (reverse) thread, to fasten turn (Anti-clockwise), If the pedals are a bit stiff, apply a drop of oil.

PLEASE NOTE

THE PEDALS HAVE L AND R ON THE END OF EACH PEDAL, IF THESE ARE PLACED ON THE INCORRECT SIDE OR ARE CROSS THREADED THEY WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. PLEASE TAKE CARE. THANK YOU.
